2. Purpose of the website

The website presents the American Pet pet retail operation and offers pet food, pet supplies, veterinary medicines, household sanitizing products and complementary retail items for purchase. Nothing on this website constitutes veterinary advice. Prescription veterinary products are dispensed in accordance with Brazilian veterinary regulations and should be used under the guidance of a qualified veterinarian.

3. Orders, payment and shipping

All orders are placed, processed, paid and shipped directly by BANDEIRANTES COMERCIO DE RACOES LTDA. Prices, taxes, availability and shipping options are shown at checkout. Orders are confirmed by email and dispatched from our operation. Delivery times may vary depending on destination, product availability and shipping carrier. In-store pickup is available at our registered address in Freguesia (Jacarepagua).

4. Refunds and returns

You may request a refund or return within the timeframe defined by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Law 8.078/1990) and applicable regulations. Requests can be made by writing to fiscal@americanpet.com.br. Products must be returned in the conditions described in our refund communication.

The domain is registered through a WHOIS privacy service, a standard commercial practice; the ultimate registrant and beneficial owner of the domain is the legal entity identified in Section 1. The American Pet brand as used on this website is not a franchise, is not licensed from a third party and is not affiliated with any other brand, store, chain or company using similar names in any jurisdiction. We do not act as an affiliate network, we do not resell third-party leads and we do not operate as a dropshipping storefront for other brands.
